Wine Review: This opaque and deep purple colored Petit Verdot and Tannat blend is Excellent! It opens with a musty leather and black cherry bouquet with hints of blueberry and sandalwood. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, velvety, and rich. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and black raspberry blend with gentle notes of licorice, plum and stony minerality. The finish is dry and its well-managed dusty tannins build up and stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this impressive red blend with a well-marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Opaque scarlet in color with a rich cherry pipe tobacco nose, this unique red wine blend brings pops of Bing cherry and a tart lemon peel. Its broad tannins make for a delightfully lengthy finish.
