Wine Review: This dark magenta colored Cabernet Sauvignon from J. Dusi opens with a black currant and boysenberry bouquet with hints of leather and espresso. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, vibrant, and bright for Cab. The flavor profile is juicy red plum and fresh mint blend with notes of clove, strawberry rhubarb, and pomegranate. We also detected some hints of cedar and black tea. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with Italian bricole or with an herb encrusted rack of lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
