Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a red cherry licorice and cranberry bouquet with hints of bay leaf and oregano. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and bright for a Cab. The flavor profile is a red plum and red raspberry blend with notes of strawberry licorice. We also detected hints of craisin, tea, and maraschino cherry. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin lovers Cab with a pork tenderloin with cranberry sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
