Wine Review: This medium purple colored Zinfandel Port opens with a mild plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a blackberry and dark chocolate blend with hints of red cherry and golden raisin. The finish is dry, and its flavors, tannins and acidity show nice length. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin Port with chocolate covered strawberries or with a black forest cake. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Ylang - Ylang and dark chocolate on the nose. A mid-palette of scorched sugar and creme brûlée is balanced with spice and heat. Followed by a sticky candy apple and a smooth molasses finish.
