Wine Review: This midnight blue colored Cabernet from Diamond Mountain opens with a mild dark chocolate and faint black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild red currant and gentle red plum with a hint of vanilla oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger for quite some time. This Cab would pair well with cherry amaretto chicken with truffled mashed potatoes. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark perfumed aromas of boysenberry and plum combine with cocoa, vanilla cream, and tobacco. The palate is bold, complex and fruitful. Loganberry and black cherry mingle with Earl Grey tea and dark chocolate, and are seamlessly brought together with fine grain tannins that sustain a long and luxurious finish.
