Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with an attractive teaberry, cedar, and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, fresh, and bright. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced red cherry with notes of teaberry and red plum. I also detected hints of cinnamon and a touch of clove mixed in. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild tannins drift away nicely. This Pinot will pair very well with a charcuterie platter with Kerrigold Dubliner cheese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This second-label Willamette Valley wine is a blend of barrels from the three appellations where we have long-standing grower relations. Ripe, richly fruity, and with a fine tannin structure, J.J is a appealing, fruit-forward and juicy introduction to the world of cool-climate Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.
