Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored unfiltered Pinot Noir from Oregon is very good! It opens with pomegranate and black current bouquet with hints of earth and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, juicy and savory. The flavor profile is an oak influenced black raspberry with notes minerality and black plum. There is also a touch of dark chocolate and cola mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite some time. This is a pretty complex and bold Pinot. I would pair it with roast pork loin with garlic, rosemary and thyme. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: "Lumiere" makes reference to the light that contributes to Eola-Amity Hills' discernible qualities in Pinot Noir. This terroir wine is made from fruit sourced from three small vineyards; "Dubay", "En Gedi" and "Three Angels" on Walnut Road. Silky texture and dark fruits, layered with fine tannins and perfectly balanced acidity.
