Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with fragrant black raspberry bouquet with hints of cola and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty rich blueberry with notes of mild black raspberry, gentle black currant and some old oak. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair well with pork tenderloin with thyme and figs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This cuvee is a blend of selected barrels from several excellent vineyard sites in the red Jory clay of the Dundee Hills AVA. It shows the depth and power that are typical of this area, with classic savory and sanguine notes and a seamless acid structure. The 2012 vintage includes barrels from Bella Vida, La Colina, Meyer, and Charlie
