Wine Review: This bright red colored Sangiovese is impressive. It opens with a pleasant red cherry and cedar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a red cherry and plum blend with notes of oak. I also detected hints of black pepper and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its well managed tannins sail away nicely. This Sangiovese is very food friendly and would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
