Wine Review: This orangish pink colored wine from Isabel Mondavi opens with a fresh strawberry bouquet with a hint of watermelon and tangerine peel. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild strawberry and faint red cherry blend with hints of watermelon. The finish is dry and pleasant. While this is not a flamboyant wine, it is food friendly and very versatile. It will complement a lot of dishes. I would serve it slightly chilled with a strawberry spinach salad with bacon and toasted almonds. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Light pink and salmon-colored, we made our wine with Provence in mind. Fresh, aromatic and enticing aromas of strawberry, cranberry and ripe pear fill the glass. Lightweight in the mouth with waves of flavor roll across the palate. A nice touch of acidity on palate give the wine a long, crisp finish.
