Wine Review: This straw-colored Sparkling Wine from Iron Horse displays lots of tiny streaming bubbles. It opens with a pleasant fresh bread dough bouquet with hints of almond, green apple, and light lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, clean, and rich. The flavor profile is a brioche, green tea, and chalky minerality blend with notes of light grapefruit and green apple. We also detected some hints of quince, lime and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this sparkling wine with Great Hill blue cheese and fig spread on a sliced baguette or with raw oysters. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Beautiful gold straw color with fine, persistent bubbles. The Classic Vintage Brut has aromas of green apple, honeysuckle, and a hint of fresh brioche. The inviting nose leads to flavors of baked apple on the front palate, with honeysuckle really shining through on the finish. This wine has bright acidity, a touch of creaminess, and a delicious long, lingering finish.
