Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a fragrant white grapefruit and gooseberry bouquet with hints of lime zest and ginger. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very bright, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a white peach and white grapefruit blend with notes of lime zest and passion fruit. I also detected hints of white pepper and a touch of green bell pepper. The finish displays nice length. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc from Sarah Jessica Parker with fried calamari. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The nose is expansive, complex and elegant. Guava, orange blossom and lime zest combine to give a lifted yet refined aromatic experience. The wine begins broadly in the palate, seeking all available tastebuds, and then expands further with notes of passionfruit, ripe pepper, and candied lemon rind throughout the mouthfeel. Texturally, the wine is full-bodied, accompanied by sublime acidity that counterpoints the abundance of complex flavors. Superb on its own or with your choice of cuisine.
