Wine Review: This almost clear colored New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc opens with a fragrant gooseberry, juniper and faint grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, pleasantly acidic, juicy and mouthwatering. The flavor profile mimics the nose. It features gooseberry and grapefruit primarily with notes of guava. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair nicely with crispy Crab Rangoon's. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright aromas of lemon and grapefruit peel and fresh passion fruit. The palate shows lemons, peach and nectarine, but with a lip smacking fresh acidity that keeps you longing for the next glass. The experience is crisp, zesty and refreshing.
