Wine Review: This light red colored Pinot Noir from Australia opens with an attractive strawberry bouquet with a hint of red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and very nicely balanced between its fruit and acidity. The flavor profile is a very tasty strawberry, red plum and red raspberry blend. I also detected nicely integrated mild oak and a hint of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This very good value Pinot Noir would pair well with a grilled salmon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A full flavored, medium bodied Pinot Noir that speaks to its Yarra Valley terroir. The aromas are driven by whole bunch perfumes. Lovely lifted red berry aromas with dried spice, juniper and fresh bay leaves. The palate shows juicy and brooding dark fruits, a velvety mouthfeel and finishes with soft savory tannins.
