Wine Review: This white gold colored Icewine from the Niagara Peninsula was very well received by everyone that tried it. It opens with a ripe apricot bouquet. On the palate, this wine is pleasantly sweet, full bodied and rich. The flavor profile is a very tasty apricot with notes of orange and hints of honey. The finish remains sweet and lingers for quite some time. This terrific dessert wine went very well with lemon cake and fresh red and dark berries. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Icewine is billowing with ripe peaches and apricots on the nose combined with the delicious overtones of marmalade and candied brown sugar. Perfect on its own as a dessert, or an excellent match to fresh fruit, rich paté or fine blue veined and cream based cheeses.
