Wine Review: This pale straw colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa opens with a fragrant quince and green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and a little mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a quince and chamomile tea blend with notes of Anjou pear and a touch of spice. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged. This very good value Chenin was added to my chicken and mushroom fricassee and it went perfectly with it. Enjoy - Ken
