Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chenin Blanc from Indaba is a great value. It opens with a green apple and mild lemon verbena bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, mouthwatering and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral influenced Bosc pear with notes of lemon verbena and almond. I detected some hints of kiwi towards the end. The finish is semi-dry and lingers nicely. This Chenin is a quaffer and will be a crowd pleaser. Use it as your white option at your next party. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Chenin Blanc is South Africa's signature white. This fresh, easy-drinking version offers vibrant flavors of honeyed pear, golden delicious apple and luscious tropical fruit.
