Wine Review: This Spanish sparkler, designated Corpinnat, is made in the traditional method with a blend of Parellada, Macabeo and Pinot Noir grapes. It has a lot of very fine bubbles and is pale straw colored. It has a very pretty bouquet of white florals, yeasty sourdough bread, and green apple, with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is quite frothy, very dry and slightly creamy, with a light-medium body and medium-plus acidity. It is very clean and polished. I found flavors of green apples, white pepper, chalky minerality and toast, with hints of citrus and saline. The finish is dry, long, and elegant. Pair with a sesame crusted seared tuna. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: A premium, aged sparkling wine, made from a rigorous selection and proprietary blend of the grape varieties grown in Can Feixes. Exquisitely elaborated to highlight the unique finesse, subtlety, and elegance that the renowned Corpinnat sparkling wine of Can Feixes develops after several years maturing in the bottle in the cellar.
