Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Riesling from Alsace opens with a faint pink grapefruit bouquet with hints of green apple, matchstick, florals, and jasmine rice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, crisp, and zippy. The flavor profile is tart yellow grapefruit and green apple with notes of ginger and lime. The finish is dry, lingers for quite a while, and is very refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Riesling with the beach on a hot day. With food we would pair it with fried oysters or shrimp ceviche. Enjoy – KWGTP
