Wine Review: There is nothing better than a Good wine that has a Good cause behind it. This deep yellow colored Chardonnay meets both those requirements. First the wine details. This Chard opens with an oak infused pear and green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and a little viscous. The flavor profile is a slightly tangy lemon with a touch of lime and light oak. I also noted a little minerality on the back palate. The finish is dry and subtle. This Chard would pair well with roasted garlic chicken. Now for the cause. Hope Estate will make a donation the Breast Cancer Network of Strength with each bottle purchased. This group raises awareness to Breast Cancer. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale yellow with greenish tint. The aroma is a ripe nectarine, melon, peach, and pineapple fruit characters with nutty, creamy butterscotch characters. Palate shows rich depth of stonefruit flavours that are balanced by the fresh citrus and melon. The fruit integrates with the creamy oak to achieve a complex and full mouthfeel with persistent flavours and a very long, crisp, refreshing finish.
