Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay opens with opens with a new oak influenced pineapple and green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and approachable. The flavor profile is a toasted oak infused pear with notes of red apple and almond. I also detected a Werther's original candy as well. The finish is dry and its oak influenced flavors linger nicely after the wine id gone. This entry level Chard would be good with chicken alfredo. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2010 Chardonnay one of my favourites - a complex, balanced yet fresh style. The French oak fermentation has added complexity without dulling the wine while the crisp citrus characters keeps the palate refreshed. This is what Chardonnay is meant to taste like. This full bodied Chardonnay will complement both chicken and creamy pasta dishes while the crisp citrus finish makes a great accompaniment to seafood.
