Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Syrah is an impressive value option. It is dark ruby colored and opens with a pleasant and inviting blueberry bouquet with a hint of vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is blueberry with notes of mild oak and a touch of black cherry and cassis. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins drift away nicely. The panel suggested pairing this wine with braised short ribs with moist cornbread or Shanghai stir fried pork. Enjoy – KWGTP
