Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a Honeydew melon, grapefruit. and green apple bouquet with hints of nectarine pit and petrol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very juicy and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lime and yellow grapefruit blend with notes of chalky minerality and lemon verbena. I also detected hints of nectarine pit and honeydew melon. The finish drifts away nicely. It was well-liked by all that tried it. I would pair this Riesling with swordfish kabobs with a lime, garlic, ginger, & honey glaze. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our inaugural vintage from our steep-sloped estate presents a delicate bouquet of spring white flowers and tangerine peel mingled with accents of wet slate. Elegant and inviting on the palate, crisp pear and lime zest highlights are underscored by a bright acidity and lingering mineral notes that seamlessly glide into a clean and vibrant finish.
