Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a mild petrol and lime bouquet with hints of green tea and ginger. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and crisp, yet creamy and round. The flavor profile is a tart lime and stony minerality blend with notes of nectarine pit and white pepper. I also detected hints of quince and saline. The finish is rather dry and refreshing. I would pair this dry-styled Riesling with lump crab from the seafood tower. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Situated on the southeastern banks of Seneca Lake, our estate vineyards’ steep slopes and row orientation encourage excellent air flow and early ripening. The 2021 vintage is a textural Riesling with fragrant aromas of gardenia followed by layers of pear, citrus, and crushed rock that are mirrored on the palate. A long finish is extended by crisp acidity and lingering minerality.
