Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Hill Family is terrific. It opens with a pineapple and yellow grapefruit bouquet with hints of lemon verbena. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, smooth, and impressive. The flavor profile is a tasty mild grapefruit and gentle chalky minerality blend with notes of lemon verbena. I also detected hints of white nectarine and lime zest. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc is very food friendly. I would pair it with heavenly broiled halibut fillets. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc offers lovely aromas of white peach, melon, and light anise seed, followed by pineapple and orange blossom. The palate is soft, light, and refreshing, echoing the same pineapple and white peach flavors found in the aromas, and ending in a crisp clean finish.
