Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet opens with a new leather and musty black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and approachable. The flavor profile is a pleasant mineral infused gentle black cherry with hints of vanilla oak and blueberry. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins stick around for a sometime. This Cabernet is food friendly and would pair well with homemade meatloaf and a juicy Angus burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Graham cracker, cinnamon, and cedar intertwine with currant and boysenberry both in the nose and on the palate. Up-front fruit on the entry transitions easily to a mid of finesse and balance. The fine-grained tannins in the finish are pleasing now, but will reward those who can wait a few more years of aging in the cellar!
