Wine Review: This light yellow colored Riesling from Hermann Wiemer is very good. It opens with a fragrant and inviting honey bouquet with hints of apricot in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty red apple with hints of apricot and honey. The finish is dry and it smoothly fades away nicely. This Riesling is extremely food friendly and it would pair well with baked Dover sole. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: As one of our specialty bottlings of Dry Riesling, the Reserve draws from specifically identified lots, highlighting the very best qualities of our estate grown grapes from our three vineyard locations. The Reserve features a luxurious nose of tangerine followed by a delicate palate of citrus with a touch of juniper berry. A lingering finish continues to makes the mouth water long after the wine is gone. Food Pairing: Asian cuisine, Chicken, Pork
