Wine Review: This light yellow colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes is actually semi-dry and very good. It opens with a light ginger and pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasant and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild tart ruby red grapefruit with hints of pear, honey and green apple. The finish is semi-dry and its flavors last for quite some time. This wine is very food friendly and would pair well with Emeril’s crab cakes or lobster bisque. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: As one of our specialty bottlings of Dry Riesling, the Reserve draws from specifically identified lots, highlighting the very best qualities of our estate grown grapes from our three vineyard locations. The Reserve features a luxurious nose of tangerine followed by a delicate palate of citrus with a touch of juniper berry. A lingering finish continues to makes the mouth water long after the wine is gone.
