Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from the Napa Valley is very good. It opens with a faint floral and lime bouquet hints of Anjou pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced lime and gentle grapefruit. The finish is dry, rather long and refreshing with a touch of heat showing up at the very end. The Panel suggested pairing this Sauvignon Blanc with sushi. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Pale lemon-green. Tropical fruit aromas with Meyer lemon and pineapple, with hints of orange blossom. Flavor profile of melon and Asian pear which gives way to good acidity and crispness followed by a smooth lingering finish. This Sauvignon Blanc is a very food-friendly wine. Make this your new summer favorite to pair with small bites such as grilled artichoke with garlic aioli and fragrant salads like Greek or Caesar.
