Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored red blend opens with spicy plum and black cherry bouquet with a hint of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is a fruit bomb. It is medium bodied, balanced and very juicy. Its flavor profile is ripe plum with notes of mild oak and cinnamon. I also detected hints of pomegranate and strawberry as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are a little bit sticky. This wine is a pleasant everyday red. I would pair it with a big and juicy bacon cheeseburger from Five Guys. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lively deep red purple colour. Predominately fine and vibrant aromas associated with Alfrocheiro. Velvety textured palate from Tinta Caiada with added elegance from Tinta Miúda. Accompanies simple codfish dishes and roast leg of lamb.
