Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Shiraz opens with an old oak and raspberry bouquet with hints of black truffle. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and easy going. The flavor profile is a mild black cherry with hints of wild strawberry and old oak with a touch of minerality. The finish is dry and it is slightly prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this Shiraz with veal marsala or a juicy mushroom burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This is the first vintage of “H” Syrah...it is an aromatic wine showing fresh blueberry, fragrant violet and underlying earthy notes on the nose. The palate is delicate and finely-structured, with vibrant rhubarb and blueberry characters, mixed with hints of anise and lavender. The flavors linger and the wine finishes with delicate, fine tannins. This wine is ideally served at room temperature with roasted pork and a variety of red meats.
