Wine Review: This dark pink colored Rose Champagne from Henriot displays a few tiny streaming bubbles. It opens with a bread dough and faint strawberry bouquet with a hint of lemon curd. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a bread dough and gentle strawberry blend with notes of refined minerality. We also detected hints of cranberry and lime. Winemaker Notes: The Rose vintage 2012 presents shades of coral, is vivid rather than pale, and is both elegant and intensely flavored. A string of bubbles takes form and reveals its delicate foaming mousse. On the nose, delicate fruit-laden notes underscore a fresh, striking minerally streak.
