Wine Review: This is opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Heitz was well received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a mild black currant and menthol bouquet with a hint graphite. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and juicy. The flavor profile is red currant and cedar blend with notes raspberry tea. We also detected a hint of minerality in the mix. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors drift away nicely. We would pair this Cab with a pork tenderloin with a sage and brown butter sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
