Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with a ripe pear, green apple and chalky minerality bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine medium minus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is gentle pear and stony minerality blend with notes of oak and herbal tea. I also picked up some hints of pineapple. This Chard is a pleasant and versatile offering. Theresa and I would pair with Gibbet Hill Grill's crispy potato-crusted cod with sweet corn and bacon chowder. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Chardonnay shows incredible concentration and complexity. Notes of classic, cool climate Chardonnay abound with vibrant floral and perfume aromas and fresh stone fruit, citrus, and bright minerality on the palate. 2020 will go down in history as a year to remember, creating wine of true character and finesse.
