Wine Review: Here is another terrific ice wine from the Finger Lakes. It is light yellow colored and opens with a fragrant apricot and fig bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich, and concentrated. The flavor profile is a very tasty and mildly sweet apricot with notes of tangerine and mango. The finish is very delightful. As readers know we very enjoy Vidal Blanc Ice wines. This one is a very nice option. It did not last long. It's a real quaffer. Serve it with a cheese platter and have another bottle handy for requests for seconds. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Created in the method of the rare German eiswein. This Vidal wine offers the alluring flavors of peach, apricot and honey balanced by the fine refreshing acidity and a silky finish.
