Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a green apple, white grapefruit, gooseberry and lime bouquet with light floral notes. On the palate, it is light bodied with bright and refreshing gentle acidity. The acidity is balanced nicely with similar flavors that were on the nose. White grapefruit, gooseberry and lime and a hint of minerality. We would pair this good value Sauvignon Blanc with shrimp and linguine in a garlic lemon cream sauce. – Karen & Stuart
Winemaker Notes: Pale yellow with lifted notes of fresh grapefruit, guava and nettles. The palate is fresh with concentrated fruit flavors. The grapefruit and tropical notes continue on the palate while the lively acidity gives the wine its crisp, mouthwatering finish.
