Wine Review: This slightly opaque colored Cab is one that we described as a wine that could go for years. It opens with a fragrant red raspberry bouquet with a hint of sour cherry and menthol. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, and savory. The flavor profile is a fruit forward black cherry and plum blend with notes of oak and a hint of blackberry. The finish is very dry with big oak tannins that linger for quite sometime. The panel felt that this wine would be a perfect match for duck breast or grilled ribeye. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2005 Miste Hill wine is rich, but well-balanced, fully ripe but with great varietal definition, and tannins that will help the wine to age for many years to come. We were able to ferment the wines with no adjustments in terms of brix or acidity, which means the wine is a true reflection of the vintage.
