Wine Review: This rich yellow colored Chard from Hartford really caught our attention. It opens with a spicy golden delicious apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, and quite creamy. The flavor profile is a rich blend of many flavors like light apricot, tangerine, and lime. There are integrated oak and mineral notes throughout as well. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. This would be a perfect match with broiled bay scallops over linguine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine offers great weight and depth with spiced pears, ginger, honeysuckle and orange blossom aromas and flavors. Barrel fermentation and aging in French oak has added hints of fresh nutmeg and vanilla bean. Minerals permeate the lingering, complex finish of the wine.
