Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Handley is very good. It opens with a mild rose bush and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, soft, elegant and plush. The flavor profile is a mild plum with notes of gentle minerality and black raspberry. I also detected a touch of cola, oak and black tea. The finish is dry and subtle. This Pinot is very food friendly. I would pair it with Williams-Sonoma’s pork tenderloin with thyme and fig recipe. Enjoy - Ken
