Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley opens with a red plum and red currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is tasty red plum and gentle toasted oak blend with hints of black raspberry. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. While this Pinot is not the most complex wine, it is very tasty and food friendly. I would pair this wine with grilled rosemary-lime wild salmon kabobs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This vintage of Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is rich and intense, with aromas of black cherry, raspberry and graphite. Flavors of red currant, black cherry and plum hang on an ample structural backbone. Pair this wine with grilled salmon. It also makes a great accompaniment to Brie Champignon.
