Wine Review: This pale yellow colored opens with an appealing and inviting tropical fruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and displays a bounty of fruit flavors. Those flavors are tangerine and gentle peach with hints of light vanilla oak and butterscotch towards the close. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for a while after it's gone. This Chard would pair well with melon wrapped in prosciutto. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Estate Vineyard Chardonnay offers delicate aromas such as honeysuckle, key lime, guava, and mineral, while the palate comes through with lemon-lime curd, oranges, mineral, baking spices, and a long Meyer lemon cream finish. The perfect choice to serve with a roasted chicken and the balance and fresh flavors make it a great aperitif. This Chardonnay also pairs well with fresh seafood dishes.
