Wine Review: This yellowish gold colored Chardonnay from South Africa is consistently very good. This wine opens with a wet stone, mild lemon and apple like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused apple with notes of oak and pear. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite some time. This wine would pair well with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a mild cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A tight, minerally wine with classic Hamilton Russell Vineyards length and complexity. Unusually prominent pear and lime fruit aromas and flavours are brought beautifully into focus by a tight line of bright natural acid and a long, dry minerality. An elegant, yet textured and intense wine with a strong personality of both place and vintage.
