Wine Review: This ruby colored Chateauneuf du Pape is Excellent! It opens with a black cherry and black tea bouquet with a hint of plum. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty plum and black tea blend with notes of oak and black cherry. Our mini-tasting group also detected some hints of stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. This CDP would pair well with a pork roast. Enjoy - Ken
