Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Halleck is a very good fruit forward styled wine. It opens with a fragrant black raspberry, strawberry rhubarb and pomegranate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and soft, yet juicy. The flavor profile is red raspberry and pomegranate blend with notes of strawberry rhubarb. I also detected hints of Dr. Pepper, nutmeg and clove towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. I would pair this flavorful Pinot with a roasted pork with sage, rosemary, and garlic. Enjoy - Ken
