Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Hall is well-made. It opens with a lemon and banana bouquet with hints of butter, bees wax and Irish soda bread. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and zesty. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral and lime blend with notes of oak. We also detected hints of caramel and green apple. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors show great length. The Tasting Panel thought this Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with grilled chicken with lemon, garlic and thyme. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Pale lemon in color, this wine has bright notes of lemon rind, lemon verbena, flint, grapefruit, honeysuckle, and coconut. The Knights Valley Sauvignon Blanc has juicy acidity with flavors of green apple, Asian pear, lemon and aromas of star jasmine. On the palate, the wine is creamy and rounded by the French oak aging.
