Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Hall opens with an acai berry and blackberry bouquet with hints of crushed stone. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well-balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a mild fine-grained mineral infused gentle black plum and mild blackberry blend with notes of blueberry and oak. I also detected hints of black licorice, black cherry and a spot of tea in the end. The finish is quite impressive. The finish is dry and its polished tannins show extraordinary length. I would pair this impressive Cab with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy – Ken
