Wine Review: This cuvee is made from 7 different red grapes. It is dark scarlet colored and opens with a new leather and mild black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a mild oak and gentle black cherry with hints of black raspberry. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins linger for a while. This red blend is not overly complex, but it is easy to drink. The panel suggested pairing it with a Five Guys bacon and sautéed mushroom burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A serious yet easy-drinking red blend, loaded with deep black cherry and brambly blackberry fruit flavors, surrounded by cocoa powder, fresh tobacco and black spice accents. Juicy, lush and round mouthfeel with soft tannins supporting generous fruit. The long finish is full of dense berry and cocoa. A rich, fruit-forward wine intended to be enjoyed within five years of vintage.
