Wine Review: This slightly opaque and ruby colored Italian blend opens with a cherry vanilla bouquet with a hint of strawberry licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with managed plus acidity. The flavor profile is a gravely mineral influenced juicy black plum with notes of orange bell pepper. We also detected hints of toasted oak, strawberry licorice and nutmeg. The finish is dry and its medium tannins linger nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this blend with grandma’s goulash or a marinated flank steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
