Wine Review: This white gold colored “Blanc de Noirs” from Gruet opens with a strawberry and almond bouquet with hints of Anjou pear and ginger. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with well-managed plus acidity, The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright, and fresh. The flavor profile is a quince and ginger blend with notes of chamomile tea and green apple. I also detected some hints of saline and chalky minerality. The finish is pleasantly refreshing. I would pair this very good value sparkler with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Pale salmon in color, our Blanc de Noirs has aromas of berry and pear, complemented by a rich, round mouth feel on the palate. It finishes with a layer of cream and pleasant, warm toastiness. Incredibly versatile and pairs with all styles of food!
