Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux wine opens with a black cherry, wet stone, vanilla, and cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, well-balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is black currant and stewed black plum blend with notes of graphite and milk chocolate. We also detected hints of earthiness and loam towards the end. The finish is dry and its initial big boy bold tannins build-up and last for a very very long time. With a lot of aeration, this wine’s tannins settle down a little bit, but are still present. The Tasting Panel would store or decant this wine for a very long time. When ready, serve it with a cigar and a cowboy ribeye steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
